abstract="Acute intoxications with petroleum are frequent in children: we have seen 36 cases in a year in the General Hospital, Port-Gentil (Gabon), service of pediatrics. Pulmonary lesions are aggravated by vomitus; radiological signs appear after half an hour, interest the right side and are characterized by an interstitial syndrome.
