abstract="Two cases of suicidal overdose which resulted from the ingestion of pentobarbital are presented. The drug was quantified using liquid chromatography after confirmation by gas chromatography/mass spectrometry. The blood level was 58 mg/L in both cases. The maximum concentration was found in the liver. Results are discussed in the light of the existing literature.<p />",
