abstract="The relationship among motor tasks on the Whitener Motor Performance Battery of Tests was determined. The sample included 208 preschool children from white, middle and upper socio-economic class families. Factor analyses revealed relationships among the tasks of the Whitener Motor Performance Battery of Tests for two age groups. Four factors extracted for the 3-and 4-yr. age group were &quot;Total Body Strength and Leg Power,&quot; &quot;Arm and Shoulder Power and Gross Coordination,&quot; &quot;Rhythmic Coordination,&quot; and an &quot;Unknown&quot; factor.
