These services help colleges to identify and treat students suffering from depression or other emotional disorders before they become suicidal. Among the organizations, the Jed foundation is the nation's first nonprofit group dedicated solely to reduce suicide on college campus. The Active minds on Campus is another Washington based mental-health awareness group run by students.<p />",
