abstract="A classified Isreali Defense Policy report re-examines the definition of military success and victory, The document is believed to promote a huge change as the government and the military attempt to move beyond 50 years of defining defense objectives in terms of armies versus armies. Isreal faces a loosely organized enemy of highly motivated suicide bombers, hit-and-run missileers, assassination squads and cyber-hackers willing to indiscriminately attack Isreali, U.S. personnel and moderate Arabs. A military success in the current Isreali context has been defined as not stopping the Iranian nuclear program, but rather keeping the Iranians from developing a nuclear weapons for the next 15 years. The new threats need to be overcome with small forces, by combining the efforts of the Israeli army with Mossad and Shin Bet Intelligenge organizations and a different allocation of resources.<p />",
