abstract="The child abuse prevention field has been a growth industry for nearly 10 years. Public support for prevention programs remains high and evidence for the efficacy of prevention programs is increasing. Yet competition for prevention resources is increasing from treatment programs and advocates for prevention of other forms of family violence. This is an opportune time to determine if we are doing the best we can with our prevention resources. One aspect of this examination is the quality of child abuse prevention programs. This paper suggests a model for quality control to help assure consistent and effective child abuse prevention programs.<p />",
