abstract="The purpose of this paper is to describe a training module that is designed to provide college students from a variety of disciplines with the knowledge and experiential background necessary for effective work with children from multiproblem families. Special emphasis is placed on preparing students to work with children from multiproblem families not only within more traditional child care programs such as Head Start or campus-based preschool, but also within the broad variety of settings and program structures that are reflected in the emerging phenomenon of community-based prevention family support programs.<p />",
