Nous analysons les effets du nouveau régime sur les accidents, présentons une estimation de la relation statistique entre l'expérience de conduite des individus et leurs probabilités d'accident et montrons comment les résultats statistiques obtenus pourraient être utilisés pour inciter les individus à la prudence. /// This paper presents a review of the main characteristics of the Quebec Automobile Insurance Plan, with emphasis on both the compensation and the pricing of insurance. After discussing the effects of the introduction of this plan on accidents, estimates of the statistical relationship between drivers' past experience and current probabilities of accident are derived and their use to increase the incentives for road safety is considered.<p />",
