abstract="The results of treatment in 13 bilateral lower leg fractures due to skiing accidents are presented. All patients were treated by internal fixation according to the principles of the Swiss Association for the Study of Internal Fixation. The patients on the average were mobilized after nine days, discharged after 24 days, started to use walking braces after 17 days, and undertook partial weight bearing 10 weeks and full weight bearing 14 weeks after the accident.<p /><p>Language: en</p>",
