abstract="The study covered 534 cases of work-related injuries of upper extremities among workers of the Szczecin Shipyard, registered during the years 1989-93. Some factors influencing the rate and structure of accidents (age, kind of work, section of the plant, occupational exposure and work experience) were analysed.
