abstract="Violence is increasingly present at school. In primary schools as in colleges (even in nursery schools!) it seems to spread as a new plague that leaves the adults often powerless. Violence touches increasingly younger children (the last years of primary school and the first two years of college are the most concerned) and it grows in its intensity. The author presents a reflection concerning the links between this evolution and the symbolic place of school in current society. It tries to clarify some possible pathways concerning the actions to be carried out upstream (taking into account the new, often failing, processes of parentality) and downstream (training teachers, working in a multi-disciplinary perspective, etc).<p />",
