abstract="This paper presents the results of a survey of driver eye heights with measurements taken when drivers are in their normal driving positions and when they are operating their vehicles under normal conditions. For the evaluation of driver eye height, measurements were made on 161 side view photographs of different passenger cars and pickup trucks. The sample included 62 small and subcompact automobiles, 86 intermediate and full size models and 13 pickup trucks.<p />",
