abstract="Over 8,000 students in Grades 6 through 12, from Western Canada and the North West Territories were surveyed for the prevalence of licit and illicit drug use over a 1-year period ending June 30, 1992. The results were compared with three previous studies dating back to just over 5 years. While there was a slight decline between 1987 and 1990, the present study reveals a slight reverse in this trend. These results emphasize the need for continued education and perhaps the need for determining the reasons for use by this age group.<p /><p>Language: en</p>",
