abstract="The third U.S. Preventive Service Task Force concluded that there is insufficient evidence to recommend for or against screening for IPV in the primary care setting. This article describes the Task Force's current methods to evaluate preventive practices and develop recommendations, examines the systematic evidence reviews for screening for IPV and several other services that are recommended by the USPSTF, and identifies strategies to address gaps in the evidence and to promote a more equitable assessment of IPV as a preventive practice.",
