abstract="A case of severe poisoning with ethylene glycol butyl ether (EGBE) after massive ingestion is described. Deep coma, metabolic acidosis, hypokalaemia, haemoglobinuria, oxaluria and a transitory rise in the serum creatinine level were observed.
