abstract="In Budapest in 1974, 4766 medicolegal autopsies were carried out. The cause of death in 2589 cases was natural disease, in 1246 cases an accident, in 878 cases suicide, in 43 cases death was caused by violence and in 10 cases stillbirth. Data of decreased by sudden and unexpected death are presented according to the internationally accepted nomenclature, accidental cases are analysed according to the type of the accident. Cases of violent death are analysed with regard to the form of them and the age of the victims.<p /><p>Language: hu</p>",
