Abstract

This article studies in detail what the Polish Penal Code says about terrorism and terrorists and how just the penalties are for breaking these laws. The article analyzes the treatment of terrorism in the general and special sections of the code, paying close attention to supposed terrorism, acts committed as a precondition to terrorist acts, the terrorist act as a conventional offense, and other terrorist offenses. The author laments that there is a lack of direct regulation on these issues and discusses the various problems resulting from this lack of precision in the penal code at the beginning of 2004.
