Abstract

Following the release of the World Report on Road Traffic Injuries in April 2004, the General Assembly passed a resolution, put forward by the Omani Ambassador to
the United Nations, establishing the UN Road Safety Collaboration. The World Health Organisation was the UN agency assigned to chair the Collaboration.
