Abstract

Examined school counselors' (n=68) and trainees' (n=61) reporting of suspected child sexual abuse. Found that large majority of both trainees and counselors were aware of standard reporting procedures in case of intrafamily sexual abuse and were prepared to implement those procedures. Other findings revealed that school professionals were reluctant to report violations of sexual misconduct by teachers. (ERIC-NB)
